Trish Pfeifer received her BA in Art Education from Greensboro College and Master of Urban Studies from Old Dominion University. Now retired, she has been the founding director and curator of the Children’s Museum of Virginia, an art teacher and art teacher mentor for Norfolk Public Schools, a docent trainer and tour developer for the Chrysler Museum of Art, a project consultant for the Atlanta Children’s Museum and Inventure Place in Akron, Ohio, and the Development Director of Peninsula Fine Arts Center.  

She currently serves on the Tidewater Classical Guitar Board of Directors as Secretary and the Education and Programs Committee of the Hermitage Museum and Gardens.  She recently served as Secretary of the Hermitage Museum and Gardens, on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Letters of Old Dominion University, and on the Community Advisory Board of the Art Department of Old Dominion University.  She has served as a state and national arts presenter, an arts education writer, and a judge/juror for numerous regional art shows. She and her husband, Ken, live in the West Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk.
