Ray McCue joined the Board of Directors in 2022. Dr. McCue has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare field.  After graduating from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completing his training and his military service, he settled in Northern Virginia and practiced medicine in the Manassas area for 25 years. He earned an MBA from Auburn University in 2012. In 2013, he relocated to the Hampton Roads area and moved into full time physician executive work with Bon Secours and Chesapeake Regional healthcare. He presently works as a part-time Healthcare consultant.

His musical interests and passions have always been with him during this professional journey. He took up the guitar at age eleven with classical jazz instruction.  The importance of offering young people the opportunity to experience arts and music is his particular focus and he helped launch our Young Artist Series.
